Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)

Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) is performed by applying topical photosensitizing solution called Levulan (ALA) to the face. After a 30 to 60 minute incubation period, the skin is exposed to a special type of intense light treatment that activates the Levulan.

A series of Photodynamic Therapy(PDT) treatments performed every 3 weeks, gently and efficiently reduces pigmentation, acne, rosacea, oily skin, facial redness, fine lines, wrinkles, and precancerous sunspots.

After Photodynamic Therapy(PDT) treatments you will experience some improvement in skin tone and texture.  There will be a decrease in the overall redness and flushing.  Sunspots will fade; pore size will shrink.  Fine lines and wrinkles will gradually decrease in size as the new collagen forms beneath the skin.  These improvements will continue to increase with each treatment.
